CMU grad student receives bachelor’s degree at 19

Great story on The Morning Sun online news page about Rachel Klammer. She is now going for her master’s degree from Central Michigan University. When Rachel received her high school diploma from the academy last May, she also received a bachelor’s degree in literature from SVSU.
Here’s an except from the story:
“In recent years, many Michigan high schools have started dual enrollment programs to give students a head start on college, but one mid-Michigan charter school has taken that a step further.
The Paris Academy of Co-Secondary Education, or PACE, is a state-wide dual enrollment program that allows students of any age to attend college or career-technical classes. Students can attend full or part-time, in some cases tuition-free, completing classes that fulfill both high school and college degree requirements.”
